From one moment to the next, life stands still. What once felt normal — work, family life, future plans — is suddenly replaced by hospital visits, aggressive treatments, uncertainty, and fear. A diagnosis of leukemia does not only affect the patient; it impacts the entire family. It becomes a physical, emotional, and financial battle.
The Francesco Salerno Foundation has one clear and focused mission: to support people with leukemia through direct and meaningful assistance.
We are dedicated exclusively to raising donations to help patients and their families during one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
Why Our Support Is Needed
While medical care may be available in Europe, leukemia treatment often brings overwhelming additional costs:

- Travel expenses to and from specialized hospitals
- Accommodation costs when treatments require staying far from home
- Loss of income when working becomes impossible

What We Do

- Cover travel and accommodation expenses for hospital treatment
- Provide spiritual and pastoral care for patients and families
- Offer practical assistance where the need is greatest
